The town of Dungog, home to the oldest continuously operating cinema in
Australia, is now home to the biggest small town film festival that
this country has ever seen: the Dungog Film Festival. The Festival is a
celebration of Australian Film screened over 4 days at the historic
James Theatre.

The SAE Alumni Association is pleased to announce the start of the
submission period for the 4th SAE Alumni Awards. As in previous years, the winner in each category can look forward to great prizes, namely a brand-new iMac and a cash prize of €3.000. This time, we are accepting submissions for the following five award categories: Music Production, Multimedia, Short Film, 3D FX/Animation, and (for the first time ever) “Creativity First”.
The competition is open to students and graduates of state-run and private educational institutions around the world. For more details, please consult our official homepage at www.sae-alumni-award.org. The submission deadline is August 31st, 2008.
SAE Sydney Opens HD Auditorium

SAE Sydney is proud to be the only educational provider in Australia
equipped with a Full HD projector/5.1 surround sound auditorium that
supports Blu-Ray technology. Each seat is fitted with its own power
point for laptop connection. A high speed wireless network is also
available for students to utilise.
SAE Sydney is now FEE-HELP approved

The Sydney campus of SAE Institute has recently been FEE-HELP
approved. This will now allow eligible Australian citizens to study at
SAE Sydney with fee assistance from the Australian government. FEE-HELP
is currently available for students wishing to study the SAE Bachelor
Degree with majors in Film and Audio.
